The Department of Women Youth and Persons of Disability has compiled a framework that seeks to address national challenges in respect of the provision of sanitary products to indigent persons. Furthermore, it intends to provide a uniform approach to the provision of sanitary dignity. The ultimate objective therefore, is to protect and restore the dignity of indigent persons.
